The Rising Sun Hotel in Bengido has won the Victorian AHA award for the Best Tattersalls Venue, under 50 Gaming Machines.

Bate Architectue has been invovled in the refurbishment of the hotel, including renovating the front bar and cafe,  redecorating and opening up the gaming lounge and adding a new entrance to the hotel from the carpark, making it safer and more accessible. The new courtyard is a funky addition to the hotel and a hit with locals.

Hotel owners Pat and Marilyn Sheehan are justly proud of the award and thanked Bate Architecture for their contribution. We say it's great to be part of a winning team.  Well done to everyone at the Rising Sun!
