Hoppers Crossing Club Wins Top Award

posted by Bate Architecture - 20.11.07

The Hoppers Crossing Club has won the prestigious title of Club Of The Year. The Club received the accolade at the annual Clubs Victoria Achievement Awards, held at the Crown Palladian on 18 November.

And it was an evening for double celebration with Hoppers Club Manager Jay Mitchell named Club Manager Of The Year.

Both awards are well deserved. The Hoppers Crossing Club has shown solid growth and a strong connection to the local community it serves. The club has achieved excellence across a range of areas including club facilities, dining, entertainment, community service and staff training.

The club has a number of sub-clubs which are well supported including bowls, pool, darts, fishing, tennis, netball, golf, swimming and cricket.  As well, it offers a range of social activities for members.

Bate Architecture designed the major building works at the club and is currently working on a masterplan to further improve facilities for members and guests. In particular the masterplan will provide for the increasing number of functions and events held at the Club.

“We are working with Jay Mitchell and the committee to deliver their vision for the club and embed it even deeper into the local community,” James Bate said.

The masterplan will help position the club well into the future.”
